Aussie Bird Count

Aussie Bird Count – Celebrate National Bird Week by taking part in the biggest citizen science project to hit Aussie shores. Join thousands of people from across the country, heading out into their backyards, local parks or favourite open spaces to take part in the Aussie Bird Count.

It is easy to participate. Just register and take 20 minutes to count the birds in your favourite outdoor space. You can do the count as many times as you like. There is a free app to help you identify any unknown birds and you can submit your count with your phone or your computer. Go to http://aussiebirdcount.org.au to get more details.

The Aussie Bird Count is on this week and runs from 16-22 October 2023.
